Syllabus Overview Food and Beverage Management A broad understanding of the variety of food and beverage operations in the industry and the skills required to manage them effectively. Strategic Hospitality Management This provides an understanding of the strategic process applied in the hospitality industry, including an internal and external analysis and selecting and implementing future strategic options. Facilities Management This module covers the operational aspects of this topic and the skills and understanding required to manage an environmentally friendly operation effectively. Management Accounting Students will gain an understanding of the financial and accounting records used in the hospitality industry and the ways these can aid effective management decision making. Human Resource Management This module introduces the students to a wide range of theoretical perspectives on how to manage the human resource, supported by extensive benchmarking against 'real-world' standards. Management Research Report Students carry out a research report that involves analysing and interpreting data and making recommendations for the future. In doing so, they develop independent research and study skills that will be required when working in the industry. |
Being an advanced course the admission to this program is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria as recommended by Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH), UK. This course will be automatically offered to those who have completed our "Diploma in Hotel Management" program.
